As far as I can tell, the addition of " If your opponent controls any monsters " and " and if you do " would then (if I'm not mistaken) allow this card to be activated pointlessly, even if the opponent has no monsters
While it's a Fusion Monster by card type, its effect equips itself to a Monster as soon as you summon it, effectively making it an Equip Spell card that you need to fuse to use
